A few weeks ago, we spoke to Taylor Straley, the VP eCommerce at DECKED, a company that makes top-of-the-line truck bed storage systems. They’re a niche but high-growth brand - and we think a lot of their success is due to Taylor’s strategy and approach to omnichannel marketing in a category that is largely known for its retail-heavy penetration.

Some highlights of our conversation include her take on the relationship between AI and Walled Gardens (i.e. Google Branded Search), as well as how vital their “MAP,” or Minimum Advertised Pricing, strategy is to preserving brand and protecting customer lifetime value.
